Granola with matcha tea


Our granola is a mixture of oatmeal, matcha tea, nuts, coconut, almonds and maple syrup baked to crunch.

Best with yogurt for breakfast!

The recipe for matcha granola comes from my Japanese friend, Instagram user @ yuhi0821, who bakes more of such miracles.

Ingredients:

Oat flakes 150g

Matcha 10g

Pinch of salt

Oil 40g

Maple syrup 70g

Coconut flakes 20g

Almond flakes 20g


  • Add all ingredients to the bowl in this order (important!) and mix. To make your work easier, put the bowl on the kitchen scale and add oil + maple syrup according to weight in grams. In this way, we control the amount of all ingredients and we have fewer dishes to wash!
  • Spread the mixed flakes on baking paper, about 1 cm thick. Bake for 30 minutes at 170 ℃. To avoid burning, mix them after approx. 15 minutes and continue baking for the rest of the time.
  • You can add nuts and change the content to your taste. However, do not give up coconut flakes, because they blend well with matcha and give the mixture its character.
  • After baking, you can add your favorite dried fruits, e.g. cranberries, dried strawberries and more.
